In the latest live music industry news, Live Nation Urban has announced an investment in Breakr, a creator marketing and tech platform. Breakr connects music, media and brands with independent online content creators to promote songs, products, and services.
As part of the new partnership Breakr is launching BreakrPay which enables brands, labels, and agencies to fund campaigns instantly, ensuring influencers are paid in real time.
Founded in 2020 by brothers Anthony (Tony) and Ameer Brown, Breakr has become a leading force in the creator marketing landscape. Initially focused on the music sector, Breakr partnered with BMG and Sony Music, to help musicians “break” into the mainstream via TikTok and Instagram. Breakr has since broadened its scope, to include Hershey, Billboard, Celsius, Samsung, UMG and others
Now Breakr is a community of 70,000 creators, serving as a catalyst for collaboration between artists, agencies, influencers, and brands across a diverse array of online channels.

• AEG has promoted Andrew Klein to the role of President of Global Partnerships. He will now oversee all sales and activation business on behalf of AEG’s Global Partnerships Division.
Klein was SVP of Global Partnerships for AEG Presents, but has also held roles as President of Entertainment Marketing Communications International, where he led sponsorships and brand partnerships for the original Lilith Fair, Tommy Hilfiger, Sheryl Crow, Shania Twain, Gitano Jeans, the Rolling Stones and Sprint.
• Global concert giant CTS EVENTIM reported record results in preliminary figures for 2024, showing significant gains across both ticketing and live events.
Adjusted Group EBITDA for 2024 reached €542.2 million, an increase of 21.9% from €444.8 million in the same period last year.
In Ticketing, sales revenue rose to €879.9 million, a 22.7% increase. Adjusted EBITDA in this segment reached €416.5 million up by 21.1%. Revenues in Eventim’s Live Entertainment segment climbed to €1.971 billion in 2024, an increase of 17.6% Adjusted EBITDA for this segment totaled €125.6 million up an impressive 24.4%
