Spotify debuts Concerts Near You playlist: How To Add Events
Spotify debuts Concerts Near You, a new personalized playlist that surfaces upcoming area concerts and links to buy tickets.
Spotify debuts Concerts Near You playlist

Spotify’s Concerts Near You playlist is updated every Wednesdays with 30 songs from artists performing nearby. Users get access to event details and ticket links in expandable track rows within each shareable playlist.
Users can search for “concerts” on Spotify to find the playlist on their personalized Live Events feed. Here’s mine for Roanoke, VA.
“There’s nothing worse than realizing that your favorite artist played your town last week,” said Charlie Hellman, Vice President, Global Head of Music Product at Spotify. “Concerts Near You solves for that. This new playlist not only makes it easier for fans to find shows nearby, but it also gives artists a powerful new way of selling more tickets and filling venues with the audiences who love their music most.”
How to add shows to Spotify
Artists can take control of their concert listings on Spotify and the new Concerts Near You playlist using their free Bandsintown For Artists account.
If you do not have a Bandsintown for Artists account, sign up for free and claim or create your artist page.
From your Bandsintown for Artists dashboard, click on Profile and add your Spotify artist profile URL (learn how to find your Spotify artist profile URL).
Next, visit the Bandsintown For Artists Events section and make sure that all of your upcoming shows are listed accurately—this is the data Spotify uses to retrieve your events. If you notice that one of your upcoming events is missing, add your event. You can find more details here.
