Radar combines Rostr‘s existing database of managers and agents with AI-powered search to find people across all departments linked to thousands of music companies.
CelebrityAccess and Pollstar have built extendive industry databases over decades. With Radar, Rostr is smartly adding AI to music industry contact search to catch up to its legacy competitors.
Startup Booking-Agent.io is working to do something similar using AI to surface booking and venue contacts, but without an existing database.
Radar is available now
Radar is available now to ROSTR members and like all things AI, is a still a work in progress as this disclaimer attests:
“Radar is an experimental feature in its early stages. It performs web searches to find publicly available information, but we don’t verify the accuracy of the data. As we gather your feedback, we’ll work to refine and improve it over time.”
Additional caveats:
- Limited Availability: Radar is enabled on the most popular profiles right now but will be expanding to as many profiles as possible in the coming weeks.
- Data Accuracy: Radar searches the web to find employees who have publicly identified themselves as working at a company. This information is not verified by ROSTR, and not every company will have results.
- Subscription Access: Radar is included in your current subscription at no extra cost. Free members also get access as long as they still have profile view credits remaining.
- Desktop Only: Radar is currently available on the desktop web version of ROSTR. Mobile web and iOS support may come later.
