Ahead of Spotify Wrapped, Deezer has released My Deezer Year 2024, showcasing the platform’s most streamed tracks, artists, and genres globally.
Teddy Swims’ “Lose Control” earned the title of Deezer’s most streamed song of the year. Meanwhile, Taylor Swift reclaimed the top spot as the most streamed artist globally, dethroning The Weeknd, and Billie Eilish claimed the most streamed album with Hit Me Hard and Soft.
Key 2024 Highlights on Deezer
– Globally, users streamed music for an average of 70 hours, exploring around 400 songs and discovering close to 80 new tracks.
– Nearly 3% of Deezer’s subscribers identified as “superfans” of one or more artists.
– Emerging talent made a big splash, with breakout stars like Sabrina Carpenter, Asake, Chappell Roan, and Benson Boone capturing global attention.
