Instagram Views is now the top metric for all content

Meta is making Views the primary metric for Instagram content. Creators can track Views across Reels, Stories, photos, and more.

According to a post on Instagram‘s creators account, the combined measurement will roll out in the coming weeks.

“Historically, we’ve shown different metrics for Reels vs. other posts, but we want to evolve this so it’s easier to understand how your content is doing regardless of the format,” according to Instagram chief Adam Mosseri. As he explains in this video, Views are different than Reach because the same person can view the same content multiple times.
