Stationhead adds Voice Notes to enhance artist-fan connections

Social streaming app Stationhead has added a new way for artists to stay connected to fans. With Voice Notes, artists share audio messages, promotions, and more with their superfans directly on their fan channels.

The free recorded messages will play intermittently while fans are listening on Stationhead.

Stationhead Voice Notes can feature custom banners directing fans to promotions like tour announcements, merchandise, and new music to turn more passive fans into monetizable superfans.

Pandora’s artist marketing platform AMP also enables similar free Artist Audio Messages,

“Voice notes offer artists and labels a fresh way to authentically monetize the massive fandom they’ve cultivated on Stationhead without being another link-in-bio,” says Stationhead Co-Founder and COO Murray Levison. “For busy artists, sharing Voice Notes is an easy lift considering the great impact it will have on their fans.”

During the lead-up to their new album, “Walk,” K-pop group NCT 127 used Voice Notes to share a surprise message to fans, keeping them active and engaged until the band hosted their album release party on the Sationhead.

“Voice Notes is our fan-first platform’s next step in building tools designed to help artists connect with their loyal fans and provide meaning to the online music experience,” said Stationhead Co-Founder and CEO Ryan Star.
