Sign letter to Congress supporting today’s Fix The Tix Day of Action!

Today, Tuesday, July 9, is the Fix The Tix coalition’s official Day of Action. This day of action harnesses the voices of artists and fans to push Congress to fight ticket scalpers and finally pass comprehensive ticketing reform.

Artists and fans are asked to use this simple form to send a letter to their U.S. Senators and Representatives urging the passage of the bipartisan Fans First Act and sharing their support on social media.

FixTheTix also published a sample script for short videos and provided visual assets for use on social media.

Predatory ticket scalpers and resellers drive up the cost of tickets for fans who do not share those profits with artists. A new study of five independent Washington, D.C. area venues found 73,000 speculative tickets worth $49 million were on sale during the first half of 2024.

Thousands of fans and more than 250 artists, including Billie Eilish, Finneas, Dave Matthews, Cyndi Lauper, Lorde, Sia, Train, Fall Out Boy, and Green Day, already support Fix The Tix.

Fix The Tix coalition members include NIVA, NITO, the RIAA, UMG, Bandsintown, Eventbrite, CashOrTrade, A2IM, and two dozen more industry players.
