• Wavetick, an online music licensing marketplace, has launched its full product after a Beta phase. The company, founded by music tech entrepreneur Sharooz Raoofi offers 87.5% creator-seller sales income while also simplifying licensing.
Having already attracted some 600,000 individual sound sample downloads, the platform has no upfront cost. It enables sellers to receive instant payouts via Paypal while retaining license core rights, keeping a share in future publishing, and setting their own pricing and currency.
• Chartmetric has launched Smart Filters. The new feature transforms artist discovery workflow for Premium users, allowing them to easily scan through 10M artists across 100+ attributes. By leveraging AI and natural language processing, Smart Filtering enables users to specify filtering instructions in any language, simplifying the search process dramatically.
