Flamingosis’”Better Will Come Tour” With The Bodega Groove Collective
Brooklyn-based artist and producer Aaron Velasquez, known by his stage name Flamingosis, is gearing up for his highly anticipated “Better Will Come Tour.” The tour accompanies the release of his upcoming studio album, and fans can expect an incredible fusion of soul, funk, jazz, hip-hop, and electronic music from the creative project. Flamingosis recently dropped the second single from the album, titled “Nebula Gazer,” accompanied by a captivating animated visualizer by Space Dawg.
“Nebula Gazer,” released on March 14, captivates listeners with a catchy funk riff and foot-stomping bassline.. Flamingosis‘ unique sound has gained him a dedicated following, and fans eagerly await the release of his new studio album, “Better Will Come,” later this spring.
The Better Will Come Tour kicks off on May 17, starting with a series of dates along the west coast. Flamingosis will be joined by The Bodega Groove Collective, an all-star band of accomplished musicians, including Nico Jimenez on percussion (OPIUO live band), Ian Gilley on keys (DIASTRATA [formerly RECESS]), Drew Birch on guitar (DIASTRATA [formerly RECESS]), and Nate Miller on trumpet. Occasional players, such as Jeff Franca on drums (Thievery Corporation), Dan Africano on bass (Thievery Corporation), Drew Sayers on saxophone (The Motet), and Scott Flynn on trombone (ODESZA live band), will also contribute to the performances.
The tour includes various cities along the west coast, including Salt Lake City, Boise, Spokane, Seattle, Vancouver, Portland, Bend, Sacramento, Santa Barbara, San Francisco, Los Angeles, San Diego, Phoenix, and Santa Fe. Fans in these locations will have the opportunity to witness the captivating sounds of Flamingosis and The Bodega Groove Collective in person, ensuring a memorable live music experience.
