Spotify’s Wrapped is a major shared cultural moment that offers a unique opportunity to reconnect and celebrate with fans. But the deadline to prepare is Wednesday, November 15th. Fortunately, Spotify has created a checklist to help get ready.
The checklist outlines how artists can make the most of the activations offered to fans during Wrapped to build stronger connections with new and longtime listeners.
4 Steps To Get Ready For Spotify Wrapped 2023
- Upload a 30-second video by November 15 to be featured in an artist’s top fans’ 2023 Wrapped experience on Spotify. Speak directly to the fans who made you one of their top artists this year – right as they’re opening Wrapped. In less than 30 seconds, let them know what their support meant to you in 2023. You can share a story about a standout moment, tease what you’re working on next, or just thank them for a great year.
- Update merch and offer top fans a discount. Last year, Wrapped Week was the top week for merch sales on Spotify.
- Update and highlight tour dates.
- Update the artist profile and check all your outgoing social links.
Note that if you have changes after November 15 to the last three on the list – merch, tour dates, and artist profile – we suggest that you make them so fans checking out your Artist pages have the most up-to-date information.
