CD Baby Celebrates 25 Years Supporting Independent Musicians
D.I.Y. music distributor is celebrating its 25th Anniversary! Founded by musician Derek Sivers to serve musicians, CD Baby has been a steady hand guiding artists through the ever-changing music industry since 1998.
“Our approach is simple: empower you, protect your rights, and pay you every week,” wrote the CD Baby team in a blog post this week. “That’s a promise we’ve kept for over 1,300 weeks and counting!”
CD Baby now serves over 2 million artists and distributes nearly 20 million tracks to 150+ digital services worldwide.
