Volume launches Artist Accelerator, offers chance to play BeachLife Ranch Festival

Music live streaming platform Volume.com has launched an Artist Accelerator Program alongside a new artist partnership with indie alt-rockers The Foxies.

The new Volume Artist Accelerator Program includes weekly streamer grants, showcases, and opportunities to play at its US venue network. Artists who enroll and stream before the end of August are also eligible for a chance to perform at the BeachLife Ranch Festival in Redondo Beach, CA.

Artists can enroll at https://www.creators.volume.com.

The Foxies Artist Partnership will leverage their recent European tour dates by streaming the shows exclusively on Volume.com.

Volume and The State of Music Livestreams

The number of music live streams has decreased dramatically from its pandemic peak as artists and audiences returned to live shows. But the medium is far from dead, with savvy artists still using it to leverage existing content as The Foxies are and celebrate a release, announce a tour, or reach fans in locations that even the most exhaustive tour can’t.

From the start, Volume took a different approach from platforms like Stage.it and Veeps by equipping select venues with video gear rather than putting that burden on artists. That has helped Volume to continue and release new features even as others, like well-financed Mandolin shut down.

“a place for developing artists to grow”

“The Artist Accelerator Program and our Artist Partnerships are part of Volume.com’s mentality and commitment to being a true artist-first music platform,” said Jon Romero, CMO of Volume.com. “We have created a place for developing artists to grow, monetize, and engage with their communities, and we have helped to create a new deal flow for established artists to leverage their live streaming rights.”
