Fan, stan & scam Make Kanye A Billionaire Again Go Fund Me’s multiply

Several Go Fund Me campaigns centered around the financial losses that troubled and disgraced rapper Ye (Kanye West) brought on himself have launched in recent days.

Some are serious, some have tongues firmly planted in cheeks, and some are likely scams. One, Get Kanye Out of Debt, has raised more than $57,000 so far.

To quote Ye himself,

‘I am Warhol. I am the number one most impactful artist of our generation. I am Shakespeare in the flesh. Walt Disney. Nike. Google. Now who’s gonna be the Medici family and stand up and let me create more!’”

Four actual Go Fund Me campaigns

Get Kanye Out of Debt

“As Kanye West has told us time and time again, he is the “greatest living artist and greatest artist of all time”. Great artists need to be supported financially to achieve their full potential.”

Make me a billionaire instead of Kanye West

“If you dislike Kanye West, please donate to me instead.”

Oy! Ye, That’s Enough!

“Any donation will help Holocaust Museum LA fulfill its mission and counter Ye’s uncool and dangerous tirade. Together, we can inspire a new generation to stand up to hatred and antisemitism.

Make Me Richer Than Kanye West

“Hello, I am Pierre. I’ve recently learned that Kanye West, someone who’s basically my father for better or for worst.. has lost his billionaire status.. this has left me heartbroken and wondering, how can I make a stand? How can I save my father from such a disappointing outcome? Well, that’s simple, I shall start a fundraiser to get richer than him! Duh. “
