About
Since launching in 2022, AudioShake has quickly signed up major and indie labels for its AI stem creation platform, landing sync placements for Netflix and Disney trailers, Oreo and Taco Bell commercials. Customers include such A2IM members as CODISCOS, CD Baby, Mack Avenue, Spaced Out Studios, and BonFire Records.
Now major labels and indies alike are beginning to use AudioShake to create stems for Dolby Atmos (a.k.a. spatial audio) mixes. AI stems not only open up catalog tracks–even mono-track–to spatial mixing; they also can present a significant cost and time savings in the case where a label must hunt down the original masters or stems, or contend with the stems not adding up to the final mix.
“AudioShake is an invaluable tool that I think any and every engineer/producer should use.”
Kevin McCloskey, Mixing engineer(Future, Lil Baby, DaBaby, Giveon, Joji, and many more)
Case Study: McCloskey’s MP3 to Spatial Mix
Recently a prominent indie artist came to McCloskey needing a spatial mix, but there was nothing left of the recording session except an MP3. With the help of AudioShake, McCloskey could create the mix.
In addition to McCloskey, AudioShake maintains a list of Dolby-certified producers experienced in working with AI-separated stems, many of whom will offer volume discount pricing for indie labels.
Here’s an example of one of the original Jackson 5 recordings–the original mono-track and the Dolby mix made by Immersive Mixers, using AudioShake stems.
