Madonna to perform live for World Of Women NFT Project

The World Of Women (WOW) NFT project has announced that Madonna will be performing at their NYC Party on June 23 in celebration of pride month.

WoW is an inclusive NFT community that promotes equal representation and opportunities for all and its NYC party will be a celebration of that ethos and growing community.

According to research published in Nov. 2021, female artists accounted for just 5% of all NFT art sales in the prior 21 months. WoW is on a mission to change this. Together, we can create opportunities for anyone around the world to be owners, creators and contributors in this new era of the web.”

Madonna embraces NFTs

In March, Madonna NFTs were released by Billboard and World of Women to help celebrate successful women in the music industry.

Last month, she also collaborated with Beeple and SuperRare to release her Mother of Creation NFT.

Bruce Houghton is Founder and Editor of Hypebot and MusicThinkTank and serves as a Senior Advisor to Bandsintown which acquired both publications in 2019. He is the Founder and President of the Skyline Artists Agency and a professor for the Berklee College Of Music.
