Grammy Awards move to April 3 in Las Vegas bumping CMT Awards [Official]

The Grammy Awards are moving to the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas on April 3, the Recording Academy has confirmed.

The Grammys moved from its original date of Jan. 31 amid growing concerns surrounding the Omicron variant.

The CMT Awards, originally scheduled to debut on CBS on the same day from the same venue are being moved to a yet to be determined date later in April.

Additional details about the dates and locations of other official GRAMMY Week events, including the GRAMMY Awards Premiere Ceremony, MusiCares Person of the Year and the Pre-GRAMMY Gala will be announced soon.
