TuneCore adds Director US & Canada from the indie label community, partners with Groover, Loopcloud

TuneCore has named Dan Rutman as its Director, US & Canada.

Dan Rutman founded Solitaire Recordings which accumulated over 100 million streams over its lifetime. The indie label was established to help international artists find success in North America.

At TuneCore, he will now lead business development as well as be responsible for Canadian artist relations and partnerships as the Head of TuneCore Canada.

Groover and Loopcloud

Rutman’s first strategic partnership is with tech start-up, Groover, a marketplace that enables artists to pay to promote to tastemakers and music industry pros.

TuneCore also announced a partnership with, Loopcloud where users can preview and modify four million royalty-free samples plus their own sample collection live and linked to their DAW.
