Coachella, Stagecoach Canceled Until 2022

Coachella is moving from October 2021 to April 2022, according to multiple reports. Its companion country music Stagecoach festival is expected to move as well.

Promoters Goldenvoice and AEG Presents have not responded to Variety‘s, who first broke the story, requests for comment.

This would mark the fourth time that Coachella and Stagecoach, which usually takes place over two weekends at the Empire Polo Ground in Indio, CA have been rescheduled. It first moved from April to October 2020, then to April 2021, and then tentatively to October 2021.

Summer and Fall of 2021 are shaping up to be a mixed bag for festival-goers in the US and globally, with some big players like Glastonbury also canceling while other smaller fests are vowing to go forward.
