Build A Home Studio Just Like Billie Eilish For $3000

When accepting the Song of the Year Award at the GRAMMY’s, Billie Eilish’s brother and producer dedicated it to “all the kids who make music in their bedrooms.”

That bedroom studio, where many of the tracks on the multi-Grammy award-winning album were produced cost just $3000.

Here’s the breakdown:

  • Yamaha HS5 Nearfield Monitors — $200
  • Yamaha H8S Subwoofer — $450
  • Universal Audio Apollo 8 — $1,000-$2,000 (depending on if used or new)
  • Apple Logic Pro X — $199
  • Audio Technica AT2020 Mic — $99

    Of course it’s not.

    And A 27″ imac like the one shown would bring the total to at least $5000.
