Merlin Is Moving To Dublin

Merlin, the streaming rights clearinghouse for 20,000 independent music labels is moving from the Netherlands to Dublin, Ireland.

Merlin Music processed $845 million in payments to indie labels last year from Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube, TikTok, SoundCloud, Deezer and other streaming music services.

Merlin “applied to the High Court to subsume the assets and liabilities of its Dutch company into an Irish firm, Merlin Music Ltd, incorporated in August,” according to the Times UK.
