‘I Create Music’ Expo Becomes The ‘ASCAP Experience’ To Better Serve Modern Creators
ASCAP is rebranding its signature “I Create Music” EXPO as the 'ASCAP Experience' with a new name, location and enhanced programming designed to better meet the needs of modern creators.
The 15th-anniversary edition is now set for the InterContinental Hotel in downtown Los Angeles, April 1 – 3.
ASCAP has redesigned the gathering based on attendee feedback to offer a more immersive event exploring what it takes to be a professional music creator today along with opportunities to connect and collaborate. Curated programming will offer insights from industry experts and hit songwriters alongside related tools and tech. There will also be a strong focus on wellness workshops as well as showcases and live music.
“Over the last 15 years, as our attendees and the music industry have evolved, so has ASCAP EXPO,” said ASCAP Executive Vice President/Chief Marketing Officer Lauren Iossa. “We have renamed it the ‘ASCAP Experience’ to encompass programming that meets the holistic needs of music creators today, with even more opportunities for participants to make music together. And we are excited to welcome all of our Experience attendees to join us in this next phase at a new venue in downtown LA.”
Attendees can register at www.ascapexperience.com.
Registration is open to ASCAP members through October 1; the general public can register beginning October 2.
