Concert WindowTo Shut Down

image from 1088869.v1.pressablecdn.comConcert Window, which enabled artists and select venues to stream shows live on the web, is shutting down in mid-September after 10 years. The service allowed artists to offer tickets to view each stream for a fixed price, pay-what-you-want or at no cost.

Facebook, Instagram and YouTube Live have inevitably whittled away at the Concert Window audience. Each offers more social reach, even though they lack some of Concert Window's features.

FROM:
Concert Window

After nearly a decade, the time has come for Concert Window to shutdown.
We will be closing our "doors" on September 16th, 2019. Concerts between
now and then will continue to work as usual. Please accept our apologies
for any inconvenience this may cause. Thank you for your continued
support of Concert Window. It's been a great decade and we are grateful
to have worked with you all.

Sincerely,

Corey DiMario CEO Concert Window

  1. I received the same email announcing the closing but on their site concerts are still scheduled well beyond the closing date and into 2020. It is also strange that when you go to the website there is nothing referencing the closing. It is rather strange.

  2. I noticed that to that they were still broadcasting last night. 8/19/2019. I have show coming up 8/20/2019 did not know whether to try it or not.

  3. I wonder if they will pay those of us with a balance. I only earned a little over $30.00 but I’d like to receive it. I wonder where I could send an inquirery about that?

  4. How about the fact that I just got charged on my credit card for another month of concerts. Today.
If anyone knows who or how to contact to sort that out, please let me know.
