Maroon 5 Superbowl Show Mediocre, Big Boi The Winner, Amazon and Pandora Stats Confirm

UPDATED: Maroon 5's Superbowl performance is being called mediocre, at best. Add the damage already caused by their controversial 'take-the-knee' dissing decision to perform, and it all seems to have been hardly worth it for the band. Maroon 5 has a 253% spike in station adds on Pandora after their Superbowl performance. Not bad, until you learn that Big Boi spiked more than 946% on Pandora, despite a very brief appearance.

The night’s other top performers on Pandora:

• Chloe x Halle: 365% (America the Beautiful)
• Gladys Knight: 262% (National Anthem)
• Outkast: 114% (as a result of Big Boi’s appearance)

On Amazon Music, requests for Maroon 5  jumped 496%.  But Requests for Big Boi increased 1305%, and requests for his song “The Way You Move” increased 2,918%.

Additionally, after she sang the “Star Spangled Banner,” Amazon Music voice requests on Alexa for Gladys Knight increased 860%.
