New Colossus Int’l Indie Music Fest Sets March NYC Debut

Newcolossusfest2018-988x416 (1)Six independent music venues in lower Manhattan are teaming up in early 2019 to host the New Colossus Festival.

The festival will take place from March 7-10, and features performances by a host of eclectic domestic and international acts that includes The Natvral (Kip of The Pains of Being Pure at Heart), Thick, Pom Pom Squad, Tallies, Wooing and Das Body.

The festival will also feature curated events by record labels such as Kanine Records, media, and international organizations as well as a conference component that includes an opening day full of industry panels and opening happy hour.

Participating venues include Berlin, Coney Island Baby, Pianos, Bowery Electric, Arlene’s Grocery, and The Delancey, all located in Manhattan’s Village and Lower East Side neighborhoods.

The New Colossus Festival is being produced by longtime pals Mike Bell (Lorimer Beacon), Lio Kanine (Kanine Records) & Steven Matrick (Kepler Events/Pianos).
