Beyoncé, Jay-Z Release Surprise Joint Album As Tidal Exclusive [VIDEO]
Beyoncé and Jay-Z surprised fans and the industry with the release of their first joint album on Saturday afternoon. The announcement came at the end of the duo’s London show on their joint "On the Run Tour II" with the casual announcement: “Album Out Now.”

"Everything Is Love" by Beyoncé and Jay-Z as The Carters is a nine track album that, for now, can be only be heard on Tidal, along with a bonus track that will remain exclusive to the streaming service. A music video for its debut single "Apes**t" is available on YouTube. [Watch below.]
The video shows Bey and Jay at the Louvre Paris standing in front of the Mona Lisa. Two of the dancers in the video also posed in front of the famous painting for the stylized shot that makes up the new album's cover.
The much rumored collaboration is an homage to the work the couple has done over that last year or more to repair their very publicly damaged marriage. "I can't believe we made it / This is what we're thankful for / I can't believe we made it / Have you ever seen the crowd going apes**t?," Beyonce sings and raps on the song "Apes**t."
The song "Summer" ends “Love is universal / Love is going to express itself as a form of forgiveness and compassion for each other.” Is was produced by Miami based Cool & Dre, also helmed other tracks and are known for their work with Fat Joe, Ja Rule, The Game and Lil Wayne.
TIDAL REBOOT
In addition to marking a new phase for Beyoncé and Jay-Z personally and creatively, the "Everything Is Love" release offers music streamer Tidal a chance to reboot after accusations that is reported millions of false streams designed to boost releases by Beyoncé and Kayne West. How the Jay-Z led company handles the reporting of early stats from this new release will be watched closely.
