Meek Mill, Amazon To Produce Justice System Docuseries
Meek Mill, just released from jail after serving time for violating probation and with many in the industry outraged by his incarceration, is collaborating with Amazon to produce a six-part documentary series on the criminal justice system.
The docuseries will focus on Mill’s life and his difficulties with the system, according to Deadline Hollywood.
Mill was sent to county jail in November for two to four years after an Instgram video of him popping a wheelie was considered a parole violation. People like T.I,., Rick Ross and Jay-Z came to his defense, calling the sentencing heavy-handed.
Shawn Carter (Jay-Z), Eli Holzman, Aaron Saidman, Paul and Isaac Solotaroff will serve as executive producers, according to Deadline.
