In Honor Of Today’s Fundraiser, 16 Trans And Gender Non-conforming Musicians On Bandcamp

Along today's fundraiser by Bandcamp and more than 200 indie labels and artists in support of Transgender Law Center, the indie music platform is featuring music from the trans and gender non-conforming community.

In response to the Trump administration's sudden ban on transgender service in the U.S. military and its "cynical, discriminatory agenda," indie sales and marketing platform BandCamp has pledged 100% of its share of every sale today Friday, August 4th (from midnight to midnight Pacific Time) to the Transgender Law Center.  More than 200 artists and labels will also contribute a potion of today's sales.

"Bandcamp is a platform for artistic expression, and all manner of variance in experience and identity, including gender and sexuality, is welcome here," the company wrote in to blog post. "We support our LGBT+ users and staff, and we stand against any person or group that would see them further marginalized."
