Apple Kills iPod Nano and Shuffle, Drops iPod Touch Price $100
Apple will stop making the iPod Touch and iPod Nano, the company has confirmed. Along with the announcement came an upgrade and major price drop for Apple's competing iPod Touch.

Apple is discontinuing two once-popular miniature iPods – the iPod Nano and iPod Shuffle.
Apple's last music-centric devices have already been removed from the company's site. Some Apple stores and major retailers still have existing stock available for sale.
Alongside side the death of theses mini-iPods came an announcement of a refreshed iPod Touch line. Apple has discontinued the Touch 16G and 64G models and dropped the price of the remaining 32G $50 to $199 and the 128G models $100 to to $299. Apple's Touch line includes am 8MP iSight camera and an robust A8 chip to power most apps.
