Feature.fm  and global music streamer Deezer have formed a partnership that enables artists to promote their music as sponsored content directly within the Free Deezer platform.

Feature.fm guarantees that songs are played within the streams of a targeted audience. With plans starting at $10 and a cost per play of about 2.5 cents, Feature.fm does not charge until at least 30 seconds song is played.  A real-time bidding platform places songs at the best price in the best available audio slot. DeezerIn addition to links out to the artist during playback, the goal is that paid plays turn into organic plays and viral interest. Prior to today's Deezer deal, 8Tracks and select music blogs were the primary outlets for Feature.fm songs streams.

"Radio has always been

inaccessible to most artists"

"Radio has always been the most powerful place to break an artist, but it’s always been inaccessible to most artists,” said Lior Aharoni, Founder and CEO of the Israeli startup.  “The way people listen to the radio has changed and our mission is to be the new radio promotion tool in the music streaming era, allowing talented artists of any size to get airplay where people now consume music.”

Founded in Paris, Deezer's main audience is in France and throughout Europe, though the music streamer recently expanded its U.S. availability."Feature.fm has been an incredible asset to me as a new artist and holds the potential to give artists of all sizes access to reach fans in streaming services,” said Skrizzly Adams, Independent Artist and Feature.fm user. “I'm thrilled to see Deezer innovating by opening access for artists to advertise and think every streaming service needs to offer this to the artist community.
