Apple Music, ITunes Head Of Digital Marketing Moves To AEG Live
Brooke Kain, who had joined Apple Music from Beats when Apple acquired the music service, has exited to take the newly created position of Chief Digital Officer at concert promoter AEG Live. Kain was recently featured in Billboard’s 2016 Digital Power Players List
A long standing member of Beats/Apple exec Jimmy Iovine's team, Kain had served as his Head of Digital Marketing at Interscope prior to moving to Beats.
During her tenure at Apple, Kain built and executed digital marketing and user acquisition strategies for Apple’s music launch. Additionally, she revamped Apple’s social strategy, launching nine channels across five networks that acquired 10 million new followers in eight months and increased engagement on organic digital channels by 125%.
“I am thrilled to join AEG at this exciting time in the company’s history,” said Ms. Kain. “I look forward to leading and supporting the team as we dynamically serve music fans messaging about their favorite bands, artists, and festivals. Innovating AEG’s marketing deals to drive awareness and content around some of the best shows in the business and bridging the gap between digital and real life experiences is an incredibly unique opportunity.”
