Bon Jovi always stuck me a little more than a rockin' wedding band, so I wasn't really surprised when I heard that Jon Bon Jovi jumped on stage and sang with a wedding band. But the band and guests certainly were surprised.

Bon Jovi frontman Jon Bon Jovi joined a wedding band on stage for a rendition of his band's classic 1986 hit "Livin' On A Prayer."

A video of the wedding shows Bon Jovi sheepishly taking the stage to join the jazz combo led by singer Lourdes Valentin.

Valentin told the Associated Press that she knew that Bon Jovi would be a guest at the wedding and added the song to their setlist especially for him, but said that she was "very surprised" when he decided to "grace us with his talent."

In the video, Bon Jovi performs a lower key version of the hit, with a trumpet player filling in for the song's famed guitar solo.
