Last night Kanye West live streamed the debut of the video for his track "Famous," and its already proven to be social media and clickbait genius.
Lying semi-nude in a giant bed are celebrities and and celebrity look-alikes including George Bush, Anna Wintour, Donald Trump, Rihanna, Chris Brown, Taylor Swift, West himself, Kim Kardashian, Ray J, Amber Rose, Caitlin Jenner and Bill Cosby.
Inspired by artist Vincent Desiderio's "Sleep" (below, click to enlarge), West told Vanity Fair that the video is "a comment on fame."
Tidal has the exclusive on ""Famous" for a week.
It will be interesting to see which video outlets will eventually carry the piece. YouTube, for example, only ran a PG-13 version of Robin Thicke's "Blurred Lines" video. But Vevo ran the R rated version, as well.
