While there are certainly a variety of different ways to launch your music so that it ends of up on services like iTunes, Spotify, and Amazon, whether you choose to release said music yourself or to outsource it, as well as which digital distributor you use is a decision which should be made carefully.

In this recent how-to article for MusicThinkTank, Alex Cowles walks us through the different distribution options which artists should consider when choosing to release their music to the public, taking into account factors such as whether or not use a third party aggregator, what sort of stores you want your music to end up in and, of course, the ultimate bottom line.
"Even if you’re a solo artist, releasing just your own work, a token label name and setup would be worthwhile. Once set up – you could approach a digital distribution company and sign a contract with them for a year or so, working with them to figure out the best distribution options for each release, and entrusting them to handle the setup and aggregation."

There is one I absolutely don’t recommend is Feiyr.com (FEIYR) !
I am with them for 3 years now and it’s a nightmare. They charge for everything comparing to other distributors. They don’t redistribute the royalties properly and on top of this I have the feeling they are not good with Beatport and other pages so you will never see your tracks supported by those pages, even if your releases are with big artist names.
I am trying to leave them but it’s impossible. One you are with them you cannot leave them. There is no way to quite them unless you pay them shit amount of money.
You would rather go for LabelWorx or some stuff like this. So please don’t go with Feiyr or Feiyr.com or you might regret them.
Their staff is ok but compagny is far away one of the worst. I guess they are countless comments on this topic. Feiyr Scammers and stuff like this.
