Spotify Tracks Post-Grammy Streaming Bump
Spotify tracked the streaming increases after last night’s Grammy Awards. Lionel Richie and The Alabama Shakesexperienced the biggest post ceremony bump with Richie getting a 146% increase in streams in the U.S. and The Alabama Shakes up 89%. Michael Jackson's "She's Out of My Life” saw the highest jump for a song (+173%) following Miguel’s rendition of that song.
Increases were calculated by comparing hourly streams pre- and post-show on Spotify. Here are highlights:
