Apple's team of music, entertainment and app editors have announced their personal Best Of lists for 2015, and their were a few nice surprises.

- Several films got the nod: “Mad Max: Fury Road,” “Inside Out,” “Whiplash” and “Birdman.”
- Best new podcast- “Mystery Show”
- Best classic podcast – “WTF With Marc Maron”
- Best iPhone game – Lara Croft GO
- Best iPhone App – Periscope
