Spotify Users Now Log 1.7 Billion Listening Hours Monthly

Spotify announced that its "more than 75 million" users now listen 1.7 billion hours monthly.  As Music Ally points out, that matches Pandora listener stats from its 78 million users. Pandora users are almost all in the US, whereas Spotify's are global.

The stats hint at how much growth is possible, particularly for Pandora, who announced that they are taking on Spotify with their own on demand music service.
