Merchbar Hot Music Merchandise Chart – July 2015
This month's Merchbar Hot Music Merchandise Chart is heavily influenced by the summer touring season. From The Grateful Dead to The Rolling Stones, classic acts dominate. But Miley, MKTO and 5SOS are making cash register ring, as well.
Summer tour season is in full swing and around the country fans are lining up to snag new merchandise from their favorite bands. They're also heading to the internet to grab new, old, re-release and throwback merch from their favorite bands.
June's biggest merch is a virtual who's who of the biggest touring acts and the biggest tours in the world right now with strong showings from several of May's hottest merch artists including The Dave Matthews Band, Foo Fighters and The Rolling Stones. Several new artists jumped onto the chart as well, not the least of which being Jerry Garcia the late lead singer of the month's most talked about band, The Grateful Dead.
But June's top merch had several new arrivals and pop artists as well with Miley Cyrus merch, MKTO merch and 5SOS merch all making strong sales numbers along side their rock counterparts.
