Taylor Swift’s Newest Album “1989” Will Be Available On Apple Music
We may never know if there were backroom negotiations, payments were made (she insists not) or if Taylor Swift just liked how Apple reversed course after her open letter and decided to pay some royalties during their 90 day free trials. Whatever the reason…
Taylor Swift's latest album "1989" will be available for streaming when Apple Music launches on Tuesday June 30th. It will mark the first time "1989" has been available on any music streamer.
Swift announced the move via Twitter on Thursday morning.
After the events of this week, I've decided to put 1989 on Apple Music…and happily so.

In case you're wondering if this is some exclusive deal like you've seen Apple do with other artists, it's not.

This is simply the first time it's felt right in my gut to stream my album. Thank you, Apple, for your change of heart.

I can’t tell if she’s some kind of marketing genius or just has the best management team ever hatched.
