Rithm Adds Music Streaming To Messaging Service For $3.99 Per Month
Rithm, a social music messaging service, has added a paid tier that allows users to play full tracks in Chats and playlists.
Sharing music with friends in 2015 is not as easy as it should be. Currently, most people turn to incomplete workarounds like copying and pasting music links into text messages. Rithm’s music messaging experience offers a seamless way to enjoy and discover music with friends right from your mobile device, without having to change tabs or copy and paste links.
Rithm partnered with the major music labels and key indie label aggregators on its new social music service, launching Artist Shops where fans can purchase and share dancing artist emojis and stickers from popular acts such as Steve Aoki, Zeds Dead and The Chainsmoker.
Services like Spotify are good for users who want an “all you can eat” experience and are willing to pay $9.99/month for that. Rithm is a more social experience for sharing and playing music with friends and engaging in realtime chat without breaking the bank (historically, consumers have spent approx. $50/year on music on average).
