Project Music To Conclude Music Tech Accelerator With Pitch Day
The eight startup companies selected for the Project Music tech accelerator have been undergoing rigorous business development and music business bootcamp in preparation for Pitch Day on April 23rd.
Developed in partnership with Nashville Entrepreneur Center and the Country Music Association, Project Music is a tech accelerator geared specifically for the future of the music business. Eight startup founders were chosen to cultivate their ideas for the new music business through instruction, mentorship, and collaboration with industry leaders.
Each company accepted to Project Music received a total of $30,000 in seed capital in exchange for 10% equity in the company; 7% assigned to the investors, 3% is assignable by the founders to critical mentors who have helped during the accelerator process.

EAR IQ :app that promises to improve sound quality of any headphone device in under two minutes
HiVolume Media :web/mobile app intended to provide an interactive environment for users who enjoy the karaoke/bar/club experiences
Jammber :open collaboration platform and digital record label that aims to “digitize A&R” with built-in talent development
On The List :company that provides exclusive perks for fans to enhance their event experience
Ripple Music :social network providing users a monetization model for music and sound contributions through collaboration
RMXHTZ :digital platform/interface and service that allows users to remix recordings to create derivative works for exploitation
What’s Hubbin’ :online platform that highlights the essentials in a city’s music scene
Each company will conclude their accelerator experience by presenting their unique technology and business models on April 23rd at the CMA Theater in Nashville, TN.
