T-Mobile Drops Data Caps For Streaming Music
T-Mobile will no longer count streaming from select major music services toward data limits on select plans, the mobile carrier announced last night. Launched alongside a new Rhapsody co-created service called UnRadio, T-Mobile Music Unlimited is available at no extra charge to all customers with a qualified Simple Choice Plan.
Qualified customers can stream as much music as they want on their smartphone from select top streaming services including Pandora, iHeartRadio, iTunes Radio, Rhapsody, Slacker, Spotify and Milk Music – and it won’t count towards your 4G LTE data plan.
Net Neutrality?
Which music services were chosen and why is likely to raise huge net neutrality issues. More on that later this morning.
