Dubset Media Closes Series B Funding Round Led By Rhapsody

Dubset Media has closed A Series B funding from a group of investors led by Rhapsody International, parent company music services Rhapsody and Napster. No details of the investment were released. Dubset Media is a music rights management firm and distributor of mixes.

Dubset recently completed two-year trials of its MixSCA rights management platform which identifies, registers, resolves rights and reports royalties for mix content. The company has ingested 200,000 mixes from the world's top DJs allowing those artists to stream their content on its distribution platform www.Thefuture.fm.

The company also added to its Advisory Board including Hot 97 program director Ebro Darden, artist/DJ management executives including Bruce Flohr (Red Light Management), Mark Gillespie (Three Six Zero Group) and Dean Wilson (Three Six Zero Group).
