BandPage, LyricFind Partner To Add Tour Dates and D2F Stores To 5 Billion Lyric Searches Yearly
BandPage and LyricFind have partnered to add artist tour dates and direct to fan stores to one of the net's most consistently popular searches – song lyrics. LyricFind delivers 5 billion licensed lyric displays each year to top ranked sites including SongMeanings, Lyrics.com, LyricsMode, LyricsFreak, Sing365 and Lyrics007.
The partnership provides a powerful new tool for the 500,000 artists who use the BandPage platform to promote their tour dates and sell tickets and other items. “Music fans search for lyrics on Google more than anything else in the music space and fans that search for lyrics usually represent an individual that is a super-fan of the artist they searched for,” said J Sider, CEO and founder, BandPage. “We should see higher conversion rates through these stores and for these tour dates than the typical ways of reaching and monetizing fans.”
LyricFind partner-site SongMeanings will be the first to implement the integration. SongMeanings, which delivers 30 million lyric searches monthly, helps fans connect over songs and lyric.
iHeartRadio and the sites of Clear Channel's 840 North American radio stations along with Live Nation, Rhapsody, Vevo and Xbox Music also draw select content from BandPage thanks to recent partnerships.
