Music Tech Founders Debate Music Recommendations By Human vs. Machine

The Scion Music(less) Music Conference took place in October in Los Angeles. "What Music Startups Are Offering," a panel moderated by Eliot Van Buskirk, featured three startup founders from Distrokid/Fandalism, This Is My Jam and 8tracks discussing their startups and "their relationship to the changing music landscape." In this sixth segment talk of business ideas and disruption are followed by a discussion of the difference between humans and machines in recommending music.
