YouTube Announces Audience Driven Music Awards

YouTube is launching its first ever Music Awards show on November 3rd. Voting for the fan driven music awards will begin with the announcement of nominees on October 17th.  Presented by Kia and hosted by Jason Schartzman, the YouTube Music Awards will also feature performances from Seoul, Moscow, London and Rio, culminating in the awards show.

To be held on at Pier 36 in NYC, scheduled performers include Lady Gaga, Arcade Fire, Eminem live-streamed under the direction of Spike Jonze. Here's an intro video from Schwartzman:
