VEVO Launches On Windows 8
VEVO is now available on devices running the Windows 8 platform via a new desktop app. VEVO 's catalog of music videos has reached 75,000 from more than 21,000 artists.
For any media delivery service to compete, consumer expect availability on a seemingly endless number of platforms and devices including online, mobile, tablets, Xbox and Roku and other connected TV providers.
While the new app includes access to playlists, broadcast-like VEVO.TV, tour dates, bios and video discovery, the company is promising to "very soon" add features to make the app "more personalized and with the ability to create, edit and delete playlists".
