Omnifone Celebrates 10th Anniversary, Announces Growth, Shares History [INFOGRAPHIC]
Omnifone, as their Twitter account states, "develops, licenses and manages cloud-based digital music services for partners across virtually all connected devices." But their history goes back a decade before "cloud" became a popular industry concept. In addition to sharing growth news, they created an infographic putting their history in context with major developments in digital music.
Omnifone is celebrating their anniversary in proper business-like manner:
By announcing growth:
"Since January this year, Omnifone has added 1.2 million new subscribers to its cloud music platform. Omnifone’s latest licensing agreements with digital music aggregators, iMusica in Latin America and TuneCore in the US, boosts its catalogue to more than four times its size since 2010 at 25 million, making it one of the world’s largest licensed subscription libraries."
By participating in OpenCo London and giving presentations about their business from their new offices.
And by releasing the infographic below tracing their history as part of the larger digital music revolution.
Hope they had time for a few parties as well!
