The Future Of Music Discovery? @Uncovery Tweets Metacritics’ Top Albums

The @uncovery Twitter account launched early this week to send out links to music (and movies) that score a 75 or higher on MetaCritic. In the case of music, the links go to Toma.hk pages like this one, which are part of the Tomahawk system. There, you can listen to full-length versions of the albums from any of a variety of places: SoundCloud, YouTube, Spotify, Deezer, Last.fm, and others. @Uncovery is not “the only way you’ll listen to music in the future,” but what is?

Instead, it’s a other helpful tool for your music arsenal, for when you’re looking for so mething new to listen to – which, if you’re like is, is pretty much all the time.

And just like that, no fewer than 65 music publications are working feverishly for you, writing up their thoughts about new music releases, agonizing over which rating to assign them, and all of that sip hons in to MetaCritic, to be served up via Twitter for your listening pleasure on a number of different services. It’s good to be king.
