Webby Awards Winners 2012: Bjork, Pitchfork, Pandora, Spotify & More

Bjork won The Webby's 2012 Artist of the Year Award for her "Biophilia" album, dubbed the world's first "app album".  Pandora, which swept the music category last year, took home two People's Voice Awards this year, but  the voted Pitchfork as Best Music Website.  Each year the Webby's honor the best in online and mobile.

The Creators Project won for Best Music Online Film and Video, and Spotify got the nod from the judges for music app, picking up the company's first ever Webby.

Winners will be fêted at The Hammerstein Ballroom in New York on Monday, May 21, at 5:30PM and deliver their take on the Webby's 5-Word Only Speeches. The show will be hosted by  stand-up comedian Patton Oswalt, and streamed live in HD at www.webbyawards.com
