ONErpm Signs Sales & Facebook Store Deals With INgrooves, Naxos & IRIS Distribution
Late last week digital music distributor ONErpm announced partnerships with INgrooves, Naxos, and IRIS Distribution. ONErpm will be powering their Facebook stores for a wide range of artists and a huge number of digital tracks. In addition, music from all three sources will be available at ONErpm's online store.
ONErpm provides digital music sales via its web store and numerous distribution outlets including Facebook via an app. Here's an example of their Facebook store featuring Blitz the Ambassador.
ONErpm will be selling music on its own site as well as providing Facebook stores to its new partners. INgrooves Fontana distributes over a million tracks while IRIS Distribution represents a huge number of independent labels. In addition, gigantic classical music label Naxos has over 35,000 albums.
ONErpm CEO Emmanual Zunz points out that this service enhances the attractiveness of partner distributors to the labels they represent:
"Labels often face technical and legal barriers when selling their music directly on Facebook. By partnering with their distributors, we have overcome these hurdles so that labels can immediately start selling music on the world's largest social network."
ONErpm is also launching a new Facebook store redesigned for Timeline and has recently upgraded its social commerce platform with improved analytics and a dedicated video page.
